The Town of Crestone, CO, is seeking its next Town Administrator. Crestone is a Statutory Town located in the mystical San Luis Valley and nestled in the spectacular Sangre de Cristo mountain range. The community is home to about 2,200 year-round residents and 13 international spiritual centers. The Town has 150 full-time residents. The Town Administrator coordinates the delivery of town services and manages the town’s day-to-day affairs. The Board desires a friendly and helpful person with a basic knowledge of local government and human resource laws and best practices, employee management skills, the ability to establish good working relationships with other local governments and agencies, and knowledge of government accounting principles and management of financial resources.  With an operating budget of $1.2M, the Town has 4 FT employees supplemented by several PT contractors. Education and experience preferably in municipal administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience. ICMA credentials are preferred. This is a 32-hour-per-week position, M-Th.
